This includes monthly meetings and case study reviews to discuss patients, care givers and their families, as well as short and long term plans and goals for patients. In addition, volunteers participate in talks, in service meetings and training programmes. Here they learn more about effective communication skills, bereavement issues, family dynamics, etc to assist them to care for their patients.
